Marlene Coleman nee Scott

A native of South Africa and founder of a successful candy manufacturing company, distributing product throughout South Africa, exporting to Australia and the USA, Marlene has a solid business background. 

She immigrated to Canada with her family in the late 1990s after completing an Executive MBA.  She very quickly discovered Whistler and never turned back.  Marlene has been an owner and manager of numerous properties in Vancouver and Whistler since the early 2000s, completing her strata and rental licencing in 2008. 

Being a natural athlete, the opportunities that Whistler has to offer to call her.  She has completed several ultra-distance running events and triathlons including Ironman Canada and is an avid road biker and marathon runner. 

Marlene is committed to providing her guests with the best experience the environment has to offer.

Kim Blevin

Director

“Lead by example and WALK the TALK.”

South African born, schooled in Zimbabwe and Malawi, Kim returned to Durban in 1982 and soon established her first training centre - The Working World College Group; offering Business, Computer, Secretarial and Travel and Tourism Courses was acquired by The Learning Corporation as an inclusion in their listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in December 1998.

15 years of living and working the African Dream; raising a young family in the African bush, running a rural dairy on the Family Farm, establishing a Country Guest House and on the Team creating and building the magnificent Shayamanzi Houseboats on Lake Jozini.

Now resident in Salt Rock on the KZN North Coast, she researched and created a portfolio of business models of ideal and unique tourist destinations for development in Africa, including the masterplan for Numz Adventure Island, the exquisite Knotting Hill Wedding and Functions Venue, are amongst the highlights.

Kim recently launched the Salt Rock Manor and continues to focus her energies on Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Personal Development with the establishment of her International Hospitality Academy and Global Placement Service.

Shaun Erasmus

Operations Admin Manager

Proudly South African, Shaun came to Canada for a better life for himself and his family. His previous job prepared him for the adventure he is currently pursuing, and having experience in quality control, process analysis, business analyst and financial analyst. He will pass his expertise over to the company and implement his skill in his position to make this the best Management company in Canada. Shaun's love for sports and the outdoors makes this place a great place to work and live. Hiking and cycling in the summer at the best trails in the world is something he is looking forward to. The challenge of learning the skill to ski will be an exciting hobby to pursue at the world's best ski slopes. His love for camping will get him outside in this vibrant and lush nature. Shaun's work motto in life is: "Work smart and not hard."

Machell Erasmus

Housekeeping Admin Manager

Being in South Africa her whole life, Machell is excited for this new journey and better life that Whistler has to offer. At her previous job, she was a finance team leader for 16 years, and it has prepared her for the next chapter in her career, which she is very excited about. Machell is looking forward to beginning her new life in Whistler with her husband and new friends that she has made, and the amazing team that she works with.
